Brad Berlin,  BEAT Personal Trainer

I grew up in Michigan and became interested in health, fitness and nutrition during junior high school. At that young age, I was a serious athlete who wanted to gain and maintain a competitive edge in my sports of hockey and soccer. The event that crystallized my understanding of the importance of proper nutrition and exercise was the separation of my shoulder while playing hockey. These elements were essential to rehabilitating my shoulder quickly and effectively in order to get me back on the ice. With that experience, I began to focus on how proper nutrition and exercise could enhance other areas of my life as well. I have benefited immensely from the knowledge I have gained and applied to my everyday life. It’s my purpose to show others how to do the same.

After attending college, it was an easy decision to become a certified personal trainer. It’s my passion to educate and guide people on nutrition, exercise and overall wellness. Moreover, it’s my delight watching BEAT clients routinely overcome great challenges with weight loss, rehabilitating an injury or increasing their performance with their career and their personal lives. I am inspired by their accomplishments and proud to have contributed to their achievements.

Many people ask me how BEAT is different from other gyms, fitness and training facilities. I, and the other BEAT trainers, can tell you that it’s not even worth comparing. BEAT is dramatically different for a variety of reasons. Most of all, it’s the caliber of the BEAT trainers, our unique programs, our dedication and our commitment to clients that sets us way apart. Like all the BEAT personal trainers, I will not allow you to give up on yourself. A person’s mind will ‘give up’ before their body needs to. It’s essential that you have the support and motivation to train your mind as well as your body. I understand the importance of both will not give up even when you want to. Together, we will set clear goals and objectives and together, we will reach those goals and objectives. Failure is not an option or even a consideration.

I invite you to contact BEAT and schedule an appointment to learn how BEAT will change your life and I challenge you to invest in yourself. It’s not selfish. Rather, it’s vital to your future. When we feel good about ourselves and love ourselves, that’s when we can truly enjoy life and help our loved ones. BEAT is not a luxury; BEAT is a basic necessity for a fulfilling life.
