I’ve lost over 70 lbs (and still losing) with the BEAT Weight Loss Program. I’ve also lost slightly more than 33 total inches and a little over 12% body fat. Before I made the decision to come to BEAT, I lead a very unhealthy lifestyle that included mostly fast food and I did not exercise on a regular basis. I knew I was unhealthy and I had low self-esteem, I hated to even look at myself in the mirror. I wanted to lose weight. So, I attempted to diet and exercise on my own several times. But, I didn’t know enough about nutrition or fitness to develop a routine that I could stick with and succeed. After a checkup with my doctor I knew it was time to get serious about losing weight. The checkup showed that I had high blood pressure and I was only 25. This made me realize I had to take control of my health before more serious problems developed. Knowing that I couldn’t do it on my own, I contacted BEAT to learn more about how they could help me. During my consultation, the BEAT rep I spoke with offered very positive attitude and encouragement. This really made me feel like-with their help-I could finally succeed. Now, 10 months later and 70+ lbs. lighter, I have found this to be true. It’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. My trainer, taught me the correct way to exercise and the importance of nutrition. He also taught me the truth about the phrase “no pain, no gain”. By this I mean that I’ve learned to push myself past what I thought my limits were during my workouts and have managed to achieve far more than I ever thought was capable. I now work out at least 5 days a week and my diet consists of healthy foods instead of the “fast foods” I had eaten in the past. I have more energy than I ever had before as well as a newfound self-confidence that I could only previously imagine. I no longer avoid mirrors. My trainer now has to pull me away from them during my work out sessions! I have no doubt that coming to BEAT and having my trainer with me every step of the way, offering the support that I need, has played a major role in the success I have achieved. I will never go back to being that unhealthy person I once was. Coming to BEAT has truly changed my life.

I am excited to share with you how BEAT has changed my live forever. BEAT has not only changed my life because I have lost 130lbs, but BEAT has given me far more than that! BEAT has given me hope, dreams, life, and happiness. Prior to joining BEAT, I didn’t have much of a life; I was tired all the time. My body ached; my body ached so bad that I started taking ibuprofen daily just to eliminate the aches and pains in my legs. I couldn’t even walk up 10 steps without losing my breath! I could barely bend over to paint my toenails, I couldn’t ride some of the rides at Kings Island, it was hard to fit in an airplane seat, it was hard fitting into a seat at the movies and shopping for clothes was torture. Most importantly, my health was in danger. I had come to realize that if I wanted to live a better life and change, I needed help. Not only was my lifestyle hindered, but my health was in danger, I became serious about losing weight and wanting to change my lifestyle when my doctor told me that I had PCOS (poly-cystic-ovarian-syndrome) and because of PCOS, it would be very difficult for me to have children. When my doctor told me that I knew that I had a problem; a problem that was not only affecting my life, but affecting the lives of my future family. I had finally reached rock bottom! I didn’t know what to do, but that afternoon when I came home from the doctors office, I had a flyer in the mailbox from BEAT. That weekend I went to the movies and before the movie started I was watching the previews with my friend and a BEAT advertisement came on and my friend dared me to call! That next Monday, I was watching TV and a BEAT commercial came and I was quickly reminded of how obese I was. That afternoon, I went to the mailbox and can you guess what I got in the mail……..another BEAT flyer! I decided that I would email and find out what BEAT was about. I was skeptical and afraid and it took me a month before I would go in for a consultation. When I joined BEAT, I was skeptical. I had failed so many times in my life with dieting and exercising. I had given up. I truly believed that I would never be a “normal” size again. I had accepted my lifestyle and the fact that I was obese. I couldn’t even comprehend that I could change and be skinny. Through the support of my friends, family, and trainers, I was able to prove myself wrong and lose weight. After meeting and hearing how BEAT could change my life, I realized that BEAT was giving me the hope to lose weight! BEAT has given me my life back. Not only have I changed physically, but also I have changed emotionally and mentally. My self-confidence has improved 1000 times! Knowing that I have lost 130 pounds has made me realize that I can do anything if I put my mind to it. I have realized that if you have self-confidence you can achieve anything you want to! When I think about it—130lbs—that is a small person!!!! I literally lost a person! When I joined BEAT I was 24 years old and I weighed 330lbs!!!! I wore a size 28 (a tight 28) pants, I wore a size 3x top, and my body fat was 44%. I now wear a size 10/12 pants, I can wear a size large top, and my body fat is 28%. I now weigh less than I did in Junior High…when I think about that it makes me sad to realize how much of my life I missed because I was obese. I never really played sports, I didn’t have a lot of friends, and dating was not even a thought that occurred to me. Before BEAT I was living off fast food, eating whatever I wanted, and I drank up to 8 cans of diet coke a day. I exercised a little, but what I did on my own doesn’t even come close to what I do at BEAT. I now put three training sessions a week into my schedule and do extra cardio on my own. I have also learned the difference between eating to live and living to eat. I used to live to eat, now I eat to live. I have learned the food is fuel for my body, not the cure to my problems. I can’t even begin to tell you how much this accomplishment has changed my life! I am able to bend down and paint my toenails. I can run up the stairs without losing my breath! My body does not ache anymore! I am no longer tired all the time. I can ride rides at Kings Island, I can fit into a movie theatre seat, I can ride on an airplane, I am able to go parasailing, but most importantly—I have added years to my life and my PCOS is almost non-existent.

We have been BEAT clients for over one year. To say that this year has changed our lives would be an understatement. The reasons we came to investigate BEAT were to feel better and to get away from prescription medications. We were battling the typical foes of the average middle aged American, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, being overweight, feeling tired and sluggish and being frustrated with feeling older than our years. We began a journey that September morning that we hope we will never end. Our BEAT consultant spent more than three hours with us. He asked and answered many questions and spent a great deal of time getting to know us and our lifestyles, and helped us decide if the BEAT program would be a fit for us. We never felt the “sales pressure” of the traditional “big Box” gyms or weight loss programs. We became very aware throughout the conversation that the program would be tailored to our specific needs and goals. We both felt right from the beginning that we were cared about and our goals were their goals and we would have access to what was needed to achieve those goals. On that same morning we were introduced to our trainer, friend and a very integral part of our success. He tells us today that he was “pretty easy” on us that first week and we will tell you that it didn’t feel like it to us! We had NO idea how out of shape we really were but we were finding out very quickly. Our routines were designed to bring us back to health physically and were and are hard work. We have learned that nothing worthwhile is achieved without hard work and you appreciate the destination more when you work hard on the journey! I don’t think we can express how much we appreciate our trainer treats us like friends or family and that he really does care about our success & it shows in the commitment and great workouts he gives us. He is a big factor in why we feel the confidence now to want to continue the healthy lifestyle he has taught us. The difference in BEAT and other programs or gyms are night and day. In a big box gym you get lost in the crowd and time on machines and with trainers is limited and you couldn’t possibly get the personal attention and education that is available from the staff at BEAT. The education alone that we have gained in the area of health, nutrition and fitness with regard to our own bodies and lifestyles is well worth the fees. Right from the start Dr. Baker’s staff asked all the right questions to help them develop the best plan for our health and the blood and urine analysis was amazing. We had no idea that some of the things we exposed ourselves to as part of normal everyday life was helping to put us in a poor state of health. We have really come to embrace the holistic approach and have been excited to learn how to incorporate that into our lives. One very fast year later, we are 85 pounds lighter, more fit and tone than we have ever been, off of ALL prescription medications and according to our trainer, able to complete workouts that some 25 years olds can’t do. And, you know what, we haven’t even reached our best yet!! We are continuing for another year with the program, but I can guarantee the program will live with us forever. Dr. Baker has assembled a staff of wonderful, caring, educated people who truly do care about their clients just like family and want in every way our success just as much as we do. Those we have actually had the pleasure to meet and work with: Daniel, Dr. Baker, Jennifer, Laura, Barry and those who work behind the scenes and we haven’t had the pleasure to meet yet, all work together to get the job done. We have had people ask us what we are doing and have had some folks say to us that it was “too much money to spend” or “I could never do that”. Well, we feel that there is NO price to be put on our health and we also will tell you that if we can do it, so can you. We want to say thank you for being there for us everyday, pushing us beyond where we ever thought we could go and for continuing to encourage us. I have been a B.E.A.T. client for the past six weeks. Signing up was actually my wife’s idea and initially when she told me about B.E.A.T. I was reluctant to try the training because the workouts looked intense. Quite frankly my recent attempts at exercising and adopting healthy habits hadn’t been successful. I was dangerously overweight with chronic back pain and treating high blood pressure and high cholesterol with medication. I had even been hospitalized in the past year with chest pain and heart attack related symptoms. But I knew that my wife was doing what was best for me and I didn’t want my current health conditions to linger and jeopardize my future with her and our son. So it was with a lot of expectation and apprehension I showed up the first day… and things have changed dramatically!

Since I’ve been working with my trainer here at B.E.A.T. my overall health has transformed very quickly. In the last six weeks I’ve lost 10 pounds, 3 inches from my waist and 5% of my body fat. But more importantly, in the first four weeks alone my cholesterol dropped 53 points, my triglycerides 126 points, my non-hdl 51 points and my blood sugar 39 points! If you’ve ever faced heart related or diabetes related issues then I’m sure you can appreciate the importance of lowering these numbers.

As I suspected, the workouts were and continue to be very intense. Yet the workouts are just a small part of what the B.E.A.T. experience offers. To my surprise the overall program is even more comprehensive than I expected. This isn’t a gym membership; it’s a lifestyle tailored specifically for your needs. In my opinion, they don’t necessarily train you as much as they teach you how to exercise properly. They don’t tell you what to eat; they show you the importance of proper nutrition and how to apply it to your own diet. They don’t set your goals but they do all they can to help you attain them.

In just six weeks my clothes are looser and I’m down two notches on my belt! No more fatigue, no more back pain, no chest pains and I believe in the near future no further need for any heart related medications. I wake up each morning looking forward to getting my day started with some form of exercise. I actually read the labels on food and base my meal choices on the nutritional content. I do these things not because I think they’re the right choices, now I know they’re the proper choices because of the results I’ve attained while adhering to the things I’ve been taught here at B.E.A.T. Now I look back and laugh at my apprehension to go through the program, I should have started years ago!

Judy Faeth

Three years ago, I was given an ultimatum from my spine specialist to either strengthen my spine by exercise and lose weight or have spinal surgery on three degenerative discs. I had been having a lot of back pain and problems for years. My doctor was adamant that I try exercise first, so driving home that day, I passed BEAT Personal Training. I was really scared to phone, but finally made an appointment with Damien, who has now been my trainer for 3 years. I started out great and lost 26 lbs (even with hypothyroidism using BEAT’s structured diet) and dropped 3 sizes. Then I tore my meniscus in my right knee running my dog, and my surgeon found osteoarthritis so I needed a total knee replacement. I had 6 weeks before surgery and Damien did a great job getting my leg strong and the rest of my body fit for surgery. He even suggested I go to see Dr. Paul to keep my back even stronger. I’ve never gone to a chiropractor before, but Dr. Paul treats you in such a kind, funny and concerned manner that he made me feel at ease with him. I could tell the adjustments made my back feel much better and helped get rid of my stress in my neck. I came out of total knee replacement surgery far surpassing my surgeon’s expectations. I walked 8 days after surgery with no walker or crutches as my body was fit from the BAKER-BEAT combination. Returning to BEAT, Damien did a great job rehabbing my knee and then keeping me strong for my other total knee replacement. Dr. Paul was there as well keeping my back fit through it all. Today, I am starting back on track working out to lose weight and keeping my back strong with Dr. Paul and Damien. I’m so lucky to have had a great team looking after me. Even my own personal doctors refer to Baker Chiropractic and BEAT. Thank you Dr. Paul and Damien for helping me!!


LeeAnn Kachur

Before joining BEAT I weighed 177 lbs. I was extremely out of shape. I tried working out before, however I wasn’t motivated enough to stay with it. I knew if I wanted to lose weight and keep it off I would need help. So, I researched many places that offered personal training. I liked that BEAT trainers would be with me at each and every workout–unlike some gyms that offered a personal trainer for only the initial sessions. Additionally, my self-esteem was low, so BEAT was exactly what I needed. I met with Matt and he listened to what I wanted from a trainer. He then teamed me up with a great trainer.

My trainer understood that exercising had not been a high priority for me in the past, so he set short-term goals for me and designed workouts so I could achieve those goals. He always encouraged me when I didn’t believe in myself. He took me out of my low confidence, low comfort level, and showed me that I could do so much more than I ever thought I could. Now I have gone from someone who hated to exercise to someone who truly looks forward to exercising. Wow! I never thought I would say that!

I’ve lost 37 lbs, 12 percent body fat, and a little over 23 total inches in less than 6 months. I’ve achieved all my short-term fitness goals and currently working on new ones—one being able to perform a correct chin-up.

My self-esteem has been restored and I’m oozing with confidence. I owe it to the many hours of patience and encouragement that I received from my trainer. Without him I would probably still be sitting on my couch. He is an outstanding trainer and I am looking forward to many more sessions. Thanks to BEAT my life has truly been changed for the better.

Rachel Kayla

In August 2007, I started an amazing journey. I committed to losing weight and I chose BEAT to help me. Over a three year period my weight had skyrocketed to 216 pounds and I was about 44% body fat. I was squeezing myself into size 16 pants because my ego wouldn’t allow me to believe that I was actually a size 18 (and I was really an 18). I was mildly depressed and continuing to experience neck pain from a car accident that happened three years before. I attributed my weight gain to doctors telling me to not exercise for fear it would make my neck injury worse and then shooting me up with steroids. I was also in an unhappy relationship with someone who didn’t support me whenever I tried to loose weight.

I decided to take things into my own hands and got a six-month package at BEAT. I started working out with Marcus three days a week. He took my neck injury into account with my workouts and had me doing things that would improve my posture and strengthen my neck and arm (which had weakened as a result of the injury). Slowly but surely, I started to have more and more pain free days.

I started noticing that those very tight size 16 pants were starting to fall off my body. I had so much more energy that I wasn’t even tired at the end of a day of teaching 23 first graders. A few months into the program my boyfriend became my exboyfriend. I am sure I wouldn’t have been able to handle this difficult time so well if I hadn’t been working out regularly and taking care of myself.

Now, seven months later, I’ve lost nearly 50 pounds and I’m wearing a size 10 pants. I’m seeing muscle definition all over my body and my confidence has soared. I’ve also noticed my stress levels are significantly lower, too. Little things don’t get to me and I feel like I’m thinking more clearly. I have so much energy that I don’t feel tired and worn out by 3:00 p.m. Simply put….I’m just happier. Marcus has been such a great cheerleader. He encourages me and pushes me to be my best. Everyone at BEAT has been so supportive from the owners and other trainers to the other clients. I’ve made so many new friends and I feel like BEAT is my second family in a way. I plan to continue until I hit my goal weight of 150 pounds and even probably beyond that.

Going to BEAT was one of the best decisions, I’ve ever made in my life.


Marilyn Lane

“Nothing tastes as good as lean feels.” Before joining BEAT, I procrastinated when it came to exercise. From the first day I started working out with my trainer George, I was surprised at how much energy I had and how motivated I was to continue. I avoided weight training because I thought it would result in building bulging muscle. As an overweight female that was the last thing I was looking for. Now that I have been training with George I have learned that weight training with cardio actually provides just the opposite. I now have toned muscles which in turn burns fat. I have never looked or felt better. George always takes the time to show me how to use the weights with correct form and explain what the exercise will work to improve. There is such a variety of exercises my sessions are never boring or redundant. My results are beyond expectations and the feeling of accomplisment… priceless. Scott Frye

I arrived at Beat after a very difficult year health wise. I had been recovering from a ruptured quadricep tendon surgery and a significant health crisis. I had been living in hypertensive overload with a blood pressure that peaked at 230/125 and after ballooning to a weight of 265 lbs. My lifestyle and habits had to change. My treatment included medical and alcohol recovery interventions and timely support from numerous friends from around the country. I lost 35 lbs. and had maintained my sobriety for 9 months. I saw the sign for Beat Personal Training and soon met the team. They were attentive and listened to my story. They encouraged me and tailored a program to get me back into physical shape.

My BEAT trainer spent hours and hours patiently working to strenthen my core & lower back, atrophied leg muscles, to improve my cardiovascular endurance and to encourage me in so many ways. The first two months were hard fought and marked by small improvements. The commitment to the little things … form, repetition, precise exercises, proper nutrition and persistence, have really started to pay off.

The last 30 days have brought significant changes in my body shape, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, energy level and even my mood! Laura Harper

I was a swimmer for the Cincinnati Marlins during high school. I was also a track runner. After I graduated I started smoking cigarettes and leading a VERY unhealthy lifestyle. About six months after coming to Baker Chiropractic, Dr. Baker introduced me to BEAT Personal Training and their staff. That was when I decided it was time for a MAJOR change. I wanted to quit smoking and get back into the lifestyle I lead in high school. I missed the amazing body I once had.

A year and a half at BEAT, BEAT has changed my life dramatically. I no longer smoke cigarettes. I substituted that with training. I am a student at OU, and I find myself accomplishing things I never thought possible; running 8-13 miles, Women’s crew, yoga, pilates and many other healthy things. It has given me the confidence I never had, even when I was a stellar swimmer! I feel amazing, have endless energy, and I look great! I am training for a bench press competition at my school, and right now it looks like I will set a record. I didn’t have to change my diet to extreme measures by starving myself, or by eating gross yucky foods. BEAT helped me realize that food is not my enemy, rather it’s my lifeline.

I always considered myself to be relatively athletic and overall, pretty healthy. But as I got older, it became more and more difficult to find the time to work out. With a family and a full-time career, I struggled to make time for myself. And for the first time in my life, as I got into my 40’s, I began to feel self-conscious about my weight and the way I looked.

My best friend introduced me to BEAT, as she had been working out and was seeing tremendous results. So, I started with BEAT last August and am still going strong. With my trainer’s guidance, I lost 27 pounds, 12.6% body fat, and 13 total inches – all in less than four months. I went from a size 10 to a size 4, and weigh less today than I did on my wedding day, over ten years (and two children) ago.

My BEAT trainer has been just extraordinary. I’ve tried personal trainers at other gyms before, but none of his caliber and commitment. His knowledge and experience have exceeded my expectations and enabled me to meet my goals.

Ariane Botts

At 26 years old, I was on my way to poor health. A wake-up call came at a doctor’s visit in March 2006. My blood pressure was 130/90, my pulse was 96 and I weighed 238 lbs. at 5’3″! My cholestrol was checked and found to be elevated at 221. I started exercising in May 2006 and by August had lost about 25 lbs. I still had poor diet habits and was still overweight. I investigated and joined the BEAT program in September. At that time my cholesterol still measured 221, and my body fat was 46%. After the first week at BEAT, I ‘felt beat!’ Now, after one year I have lost a total of 78 lbs and 11% body fat, and have changed my lifer forever! In addition to losing weight and looking and feeling better, my blood pressure has decreased to 100/60, my pulse rate is 65 and my cholesterol has decreased to 161. I have just re-signed for another year with BEAT and their wonderful trainers and doctors, and I can’t wait to see the results this time next year!

Douglas Corra

I have been a BEAT client for 10 months now and I have lost to date 60 lbs, 7 inches off of my hips, and over 10 inches from my waist. This is a dramatic change in my life that I am convinced I could not have accomplished without the help of my trainer.

From day one my trainer has held me accountable for my diet along with my training, and by trusting her expertise and experience I have far exceeded my expectations. I had hoped of course to lose the weight; however I didn’t expect that I would have progressed this fast. I could tell such a difference from that first week of workouts, struggling to do almost any of the exercises, and now I am looking forward to the next challenging exercise.

I no longer take cholesterol medication, I feel better, I sleep better, and I am smaller than I have been in a decade. I have more self confidence, and my life is better overall. Prior to joining BEAT, I had never worked out on a regular basis my entire life. I had tried health clubs before. However, I lacked the confidence and motivation to do it on my own. Not to mention how intimidated I felt by everyone working out and working at the gym Approaching my 40th birthday, I decided it was time to get serious and make a change. I drove by BEAT and called to learn more. I was extremely skeptical. However, after meeting with Dr. Patrick and Matt, I agreed to give it a try. Three months later and I’m hooked! The atmosphere at BEAT is supportive and encouraging. When I think I can’t – Matt or Dr. Patrick say I CAN. I can’t imagine training without BEAT. Andrew Murray

I am 15 years old and attend Mason High School. My main reason for going to beat was to get in better physical shape. Being fortunate enough to live and travel all over the world (due to my Dad’s work) and see many different cultures including attending school in Japan, I learned that physical fitness is the most important thing needed to live a long and healthy life. Since starting at beat, I have lost 36 pounds in 36 weeks and gained 11 pounds of lean muscle! Going to BEAT has been a great influence in my life, it has increased my self-esteem and all around confidence. I now work at BEAT part-time after school helping everyone to reach their goal of being in great physical shape. Just remember, it’s your life, and it should not revolve around a Twinkie. Andrew

I would like to thank Matt, Dr. Pat, Dr. Paul and everyone at BEAT who has helped me over the last 2 months. I cannot believe the difference it has made in my life in just 60 days. I am 40 years old, a single mom and I have two active teenagers. I work full time as a registered nurse in a Clinical Manager role. My life is very busy. Two months ago, I decided to change my life style and get motivated to be healthy. I saw an advertisement for BEAT and decided to make the commitment to change my lifestyle. Over the past 2 months, I have lost 33 pounds and many inches. I have more work to do to achieve my goal, but just in the short period of time with BEAT, I have accomplished huge hurdles and, most importantly, I like who I have become in the process. At Beat, I feel I have a team of support around me. The BEAT team always answers my questions, helps me to maintain my motivation level, and keeps me inspired. I am amazed at how my body continues to transform. The workouts are purposeful and challenging, and Matt, (my trainer) comes across as just plain good-natured, and liked by everyone. To me, Matt is the kind of leader/motivator who encourages you to work hard, go for it on those days when you have it, and equally as important, to at least maintain movement on those inevitable days when energy is not quite what it should be due to injury.I feel that I’m finally in control of my life again. I feel energetic, excited to exercise, and I actually want to eat healthy. BEAT has taught me discipline and I am committed to changing my lifestyle. Kaleb Baker

I recently won my second straight Liberty Nationals youth wrestling title in Kansas City, MO. I credit a large part of my success to regular strength training using techniques and routines I learned from BEAT.

I am 14 and weigh 125 pounds. I have been able to increase my squat from 185 lbs to over 300 lbs in under one year and my bench press from 135 lbs to 205 lbs. This would not have been possible without the advanced strength training and nutrition techniques I learned from the BEAT staff.

My name is Jerri Nichelson known at B.E.A.T. as “Jerri Lee.” I am originally from the great state of Texas. A real die-hard Texas girl! I have lived in the Mason area for about 4 years and loving it!! I am especially excited about finding B.E.A.T. At age 45, I knew I needed to do something as I felt my body slipping. Just going up the stairs at home would make me winded. My energy and stamina levels were very low. I had a hard time physically just keeping up with my 2 boys, ages 11 and 8. I felt that life was passing me by and I knew I needed to change the direction of my life in the area of physical fitness. As a result, I began to look for a solution. After being next door at lunch, I walked over to the B.E.A.T. in Mason and asked about their physical fitness programs. Almost immediately, I was hooked on their approach and methods of physical fitness. I have been working out at B. E.A.T for about 5 month’s now and I love it! I never thought I would love working out as much as I do. One thing that really impressed me was the fact that they know exactly where to target each workout to get optimal results. Workouts at B.E.A.T. are totally different than other workout places. So what is the result? I feel more energetic and my stamina has gone up. Now my boy’s have a hard time keeping up with me! My body is more shaped and toned including my arms and legs, but especially my abs (which have always been a problem area since giving birth). I look and feel better than I ever have and have even turned a few heads. I have had women approach me asking me what my secret is to looking young and fit. I tell them the difference for me has been my diet and exercise. I have gone from a dress size of 6 to a 0 and my husband now calls me his “hard-body babe.” I have promised not to “BEAT” him up.Based on what B.E.A.T. has done for me, I would encourage others to break out of the mold of poor physical fitness, lack of energy and obesity regardless of your age. I went from 43% body fat down to 25% body fat. I lost 31 pounds of fat and gained 15 pounds of lean muscle mass. Thank you BEAT for giving back the person I was before my weight gain and self esteem that was totally gone. When I came to see Dr. Patrick and Matt to discuss my weight gain, I was doing palates and yoga but I wasn’t getting the result I wanted, in one summer I only lost 6 pounds. As soon as I started my program at BEAT, I lost 6 pounds in only FOUR DAYS!!!! My goal was to stand in front of a full length mirror and really like what I was seeing. When I came to Baker Chiropractic for the first time I was skeptical. I had a bad experience with a chiropractor just one year earlier and I was scared to let anyone adjust my spine. Also I didn’t believe I could workout without being injured. This was due to my past experiences at other gyms. Every time I worked out in the past, even when hiring a trainer, I would injure myself. In the past two years I’ve suffered from multiple hernias and two budging discs. I was looking not only to get in better shape but also for a way to feel better daily. I felt constant pain in my neck, shoulders and back. The pain left me with a continuous feeling of fatigue. I also knew that I needed to shed a few pounds or my health would only deteriorate. I have now been working out at BEAT and getting regular adjustments for the past two months and I can’t stress the difference it’s made in my life. I have more energy! I can sleep at night! Dr. Paul, I can’t thank you enough for putting me back on the right path. I was first introduced to Dr. Paul Baker because of a neck injury. After several adjustments and other multiple physical therapies to fix my subluxation, I began to feel very comfortable with Dr. Paul and confided in him about being very unhappy with my body. Knowing I was morbidly obese for my height, my weight could not be helping my neck and shoulder, and I was afraid of other serous health issues that could occur due to my obesity. That is when my life did a 180, Dr. Paul introduced me to BEAT! Matt sat with me and explained all the nutritional needs for my body that I had not been doing.
