What BEAT Can Do For You!

Q: What will I be doing in each workout?
A: Your workout is designed to give you all of the essential components of good health: flexibility, stamina, endurance, and strength.  We’ll develop them through cardiovascular exercise, stretching, and resistance/weight/strength training.  You’ll start to feel better, physically and mentally the first day you start training.
Q: Are you going to make me look like one of those body builders with ugly veins popping out everywhere?
A: We don’t train people to look like body builders.  We’ll be training you to be physically fit and healthy, not to win physique contests. Yes, you will build muscle as you train, and your body will completely change.  Your excess fat will burn off and you’ll feel that healthy muscle everywhere.  This muscle will improve every area of your life.  But it isn't just for show.
Q Are you going to continue to help me after I sign up?
A: Some gyms, health clubs, and fitness centers entice you into signing up for personal training, then simply point you in the direction of the gym with little or no supervision or assistance.  At BEAT, we are with you every-step-of-the-way.  We coach you at each and every workout, monitor your training and make needed adjustments along the way.  This is not a gym where we sign people up and forget about them.  You are in good hands when you come to BEAT.
Q: Is this workout something I could be doing on my own?
A: Are you in the shape you want to be in by doing it on your own now?  Do you have the proper equipment and experience to do it the right way?  If not, perhaps it’s time to admit the truth.  You need help.  For example, even Joe Montana had a personal trainer.  If it was possible to it on your own, don’t you think that a highly motivated professional athlete like that would do without one?  To get truly extraordinary results, it’s necessary to have someone coaching you.  If you try to do it alone (most likely the “wrong” way), you’re also not accountable to anyone.  You probably don’t have the skills of a professional trainer, so you won’t get the results you desire and my even injure yourself.
Q: Are there a lot of people "running around" in the facility while I’m training?
A: In your personal training session, there will never be more than a few people working out at the same time. That means you wont have to wait for equipment or have people staring at you while you train.  You will feel comfortable at BEAT.  We’re like one big family.  Everyone supports and helps each other.  However, if you want a completely private workout, it is available.  It’s more expensive than the semi-private workout, and most people don’t think its as much fun, but we can do that for you if you prefer privacy.
Q: Do you work with me on a diet?
A: Absolutely.  We’ll give you a healthy eating program that will melt your body fat off. Most importantly, it’s a program that is easy to follow.  You’ll be able to stay on it for life and you won’t feel deprived.  Of course, if you don't need to be on a diet, we won't give you one.  We will just concentrate on the training.
Q: How long is each session?
A: About one hour.  We use specialized equipment and training techniques that allow you to accomplish more in one hour than you could in several hours on your own at home or in a gym.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear what you’re comfortable wearing.  Most people train in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.  Some wear sweats.  It doesn't matter as long as you feel comfortable and can do the workout.
Q: Can my wife or children train with me too?
A: Sure.  As a matter of fact, we offer family member discounts.  We want your whole family to look and feel as good as you do.
Q: Can I come in anytime I want?
A: All sessions are by appointment only and can start as early as 6:00 am or as late as 7:00 pm. We commit to a meeting time and stick to it. With our approach, you’ll make sure you get to your workouts. If you say, “I’ll do it later today”, you probably won’t do it, so you won’t reach your goals.
Q: I feel a little nervous about getting started, I have never done anything like this before.
A: That’s understandable.  But do yourself a favor, when you walk in here to train, leave your fears in the parking lot.  BEAT is going to get you into the best shape of your life.  You’re going to know what it’s like to feel good.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Session costs depend upon multiple factors and directly correlate to your goals and commitments.  Sessions fees range from $37 -$65, depending upon the package discounts. Our fees are equal to or below the standard fees at most "chain" health clubs and we have specialized equipment, skilled trainers, and doctor-driven programs.  We offer multiple payment plans and are certified with Care Credit, which offers no-interest, longer-term payment options.  Most people can achieve their fitness goals with a 6-month package.  Ask yourself what getting in the best shape of your life and looking and feeling the way you really want is worth to you?  Most people have wasted more money than the cost of our programs on fad diets that didn't work and unused home fitness equipment.  Just ask our clients, they will tell you BEAT personal training is a bargain and well worth the investment!
