Jason Harbin, BEAT Personal Trainer

I grew up in Akron, Ohio and attended Mount Union University where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. I continued my formal education at Kent State University by pursuing a Masters Program in Sports Administration. My certification as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) was obtained through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2007.

Health and fitness have always been very important throughout my life and a key ingredient to the success I have achieved on the athletic field and in the classroom. I was an avid participant in high school sports and a member of Mount Union’s 2005 Division III National Championship football team. I also attribute my lifestyle focused on health and wellness as a vital factor in receiving academic honors from Mount Union University. I am walking proof that following a proper diet, nutrition and exercise program will allow you to perform at your peak in all areas of your life. It’s not just about athletic performance. It’s more about enhancing your career and your personal life.

Prior to joining BEAT, I was employed as a strength and conditioning coach for Division I collegiate athletes. While training these high level athletes was exciting, it did not provide me with the personal gratification I had hoped. I felt compelled to apply my skills and passions where they could have more impact on people’s everyday lives. That’s what drew me to BEAT Personal Training. Now three years later, I am very happy with the decision I made. I have played a significant role in noticeably improving the lives of all types of people from all walks of life. I have helped kids from age 13 to senior citizens age 92. Watching BEAT clients transform their lives is my motivation and sense of purpose. It’s great to be part of a team of professionals that are as passionate about helping people improve their personal and professional lives as I am.

You have taken an important first step in making a positive change in your life by visiting our website and learning how BEAT can help. Jake Omolewu, BEAT Personal Trainer

I was born and raised in Xenia, Ohio and graduated from Xenia High School. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Wilberforce University and I am continuing my formal education as a graduate student studying Exercise Science at Miami University. In addition to furthering my education and faithfully serving BEAT clients, I continue to participate in competitive power lifting and semi-professional football.

Like many of my fellow personal trainers here at BEAT, health and wellness have been essential elements in my life from an early age. As a junior in high school, I became laser focused on pursuing a career in this field. These are vital principles to maximizing daily performance in all areas of my life; professional, academic and personal. I have and continue to experience the many benefits of health and wellness. It’s my mission to guide others and help them realize how proper nutrition and exercise positively and dramatically improve their lives. I am living proof of this fact and I have watched many other BEAT clients make the transformation. They inspire me and affirm my devotions.

BEAT is not a fitness facility. In fact, it’s unlike anything else you can find. It doesn’t just cater to athletes nor does it make you look like a professional body builder. BEAT is about adopting and implementing a lifestyle that touches every part of your existence. It’s about reaching your true potential both physically and mentally. It’s about giving your body what it needs to function at optimum levels. When you reach these heights, the opportunities to attain your dreams, look your best and feel true happiness are abundant.

Making a lifestyle change like this takes your pledge and it takes our assistance. I am committed to provide you with professional consultation and proper instruction. Most of all, I will not allow you to fail. That’s my promise and the BEAT guarantee. At the beginning of a BEAT customized program, my clients are accountable to me. However, they quickly start to become accountable to themselves. When that happens, their confidence and self-esteem soar and they start living life on their terms.

I welcome your questions and encourage you to schedule an appointment with us. It will be well worth your time.
