This course has been awarded 12 hours of continuing education credit from BOC as well as NSCA. Approval from the Ohio State Chiropractic Board is pending.

Patrick Baker, D.C.
Dr. Baker of Baker Family Chiropractic is dedicated to serving the patients and community by providing high quality care in order to help people achieve healthier bodies and more active, productive, and happier lives. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1993. He has certifications in various specialties such as physiotherapy, electromyography, and spinal impairment.

Paul Baker, D.C.
Dr. Baker also of Baker Chiropractic is also dedicated to providing high quality care to patients and the community. He graduated from Palmer College in 1993. He has advanced certifications in physiological therapeutics, permanent impairment ratings, and soft tissue injury treatments of the spine and extremities.

Matt Weidemer
Head trainer for BEAT personal training. Prior to this Matt worked as a strength and conditioning consultant to the Cleveland Browns. Matt graduated with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Wilmington College.

Laura Pruitt
M.S.,A.T.C.,L.A.T. Laura is a licensed/certified athletic trainer with a master’s degree in exercise science from Eastern Illinois University. Laura has worked in the field of athletic training and adult fitness for more than 20 years, and was the director of the EPA Wellness Center for 16 years. Laura is currently with BEAT/ Baker Chiropractic and is responsible for BEAT University as well as being a personal trainer for BEAT and an athletic trainer for Baker Chiropractic.

Lauren Niemes
M.Ed., RD, LD, Executive Director, Nutrition Council. Lauren is a registered dietitian and the Executive Director of the Nutrition Council, a nonprofit agency helping to make Greater Cincinnati a healthier community through innovative nutrition education and physical activity programs. Lauren received her BS degree in Dietetics from the University of Cincinnati. She completed a clinical dietetic internship at New England Medical Center and earned a Masters of Education with an emphasis in nutrition from Tufts University in Boston. Ms. Niemes has over 20 years of experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics. She has been the Executive Director of the Nutrition Council since 1994. Prior to that she was the Dietetics Program Director at the University of Cincinnati, a research nutritionist at the University Medical Center and worked at the Cincinnati Center for Developmental Disorders. Lauren is a member of the American Dietetic Association and The Society for Nutrition Education. Her areas of expertise include nutrition and disease prevention and nutrition education.
Registration:
$200.00 if registered before November 1, 2008. $225.00 if Registering after November 1, 2008. Registration is limited. To assure a spot please try to register early.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
If for any reason the participant should need to cancel a refund of 100% of the total fee will be given if the cancellation is made prior to 30 days. If a cancellation is made within 30 days a 50% refund will be given. There will be no refunds given less than 10 days before scheduled conference.

Box lunches as well as mid morning and late afternoon snacks and drinks will be provided.
